The Baia Underwater Park comprises the Bacoli and Pozzuoli coastline between the head of the southern pier of the port of Baia (OMLIN pier) and the pier of Lido Augusto (Pozzuoli), with an average total extension of 2x0.5 nautical miles (about 3.4 km2) and a maximum depth of about -15 m.
The area is divided into three zones: integral reserve (A), general (B), partial (C), with different protection regimes.
